Spring is on its way, I can hear the birds singing which is a very cheering sound. I have spent this morning updating the website which always causes me lots of pain as I forget how to do it. I have hopefully linked Twitter, Instagram and the Rosslyn Glamping Facebook page together with the website. We were so busy last year, right into October, that I didn't get a chance to add to the blog. October half term we spent on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides as it was my 60th birthday. We stayed at https://www.tigharryschoolhouse.com/ which was a fabulous place to be. We have started this year with bookings during February half term which is when Andrew and I usually nip to Lanzarote for some sunshine. You can see from one of the photos below that Andrew is rebuilding Jacob's original hut that has been sitting abandoned for a couple of years. It will hopefully make a children's playroom. Jacob has now moved again (to the area where the boys' trucks used to be) and is hoping to open a small shop, rescue and viewing area for exotic fish and reptiles. Some families have already enjoyed meeting his turtles and snake. We look forward to welcoming lots of visitors this year.
