After taking about 4 days to fill and a couple of days to heat the pool is now operational. There are still a few paving slabs to put around the edge, some more turf and a fence with gates. The temperature is about 23 degrees at the moment, we are hoping that when we get a pool cover this will help to keep it warmer. Andrew has swum for 4 days in a row. The picture shows Jacob and Patrick getting the creases out of the liner as it fills. The dark shadow is sand; there was a broken pipe in the filter and when it was first switched on lots of sand shot out into the pool. This has been hoovered up and put back into the filter now.
