OUR STORY

Andrew and I moved to Rosslyn in December 2005 with our three sons.  Over the last 11 years the property has changed from a dilapidated 1920s bungalow to an almost finished traditional Norfolk red brick and flint house.  Along the way we've acquired more pets and our boys have left home (mostly!), Andrew was getting bored working on the house and so had the idea of creating a shepherd's hut to put in our woods so that others could share our wonderful home.

Rosslyn Glamping

Honeysuckle Shepherd's Hut is in it's own clearing in the woods. Jacob's Folly, Goosewing and Chere Amie are closer together but still have their own area. There is a picnic bench and barbecue with each hut.  A little way down a woodland path is a shower block with individual wet rooms.  There is also a heated, outdoor swimming pool for use by guests. The woodland largely consists of larch and pine which was planted in the 1950s for timber however there are some large beeches, chestnuts and sycamores with some smaller deciduous trees growing up through.  The woods are a haven for wildlife; barn and tawny owls, long tailed tits, wrens, woodpeckers, sparrowhawk, bats, squirrels, deer, toads.  There is a campfire area that you may use if you wish.
